convenience to avoid cross-contaminations of viruses. The pedal-operated handwash station helps
in sanitizing/washing hands without physically touching the water tap and soapy water or other
liquid soap dispensers, thereby making it least potential for contamination at public and common
places usage.

YAG provides operation and maintenance support to various institutions, especially in the areas of upkeeping of WASH infrastructures. This project aims to promote potential youth as service providers or sanitation facility managers. They are being
provided with the requisite training, tools and equipment to manage the work efficiently and cost-
effectively.
